What kind of events/businesses/organizations do you work with?
Many of our business clients are hospitality businesses looking to expand revenue opportunities through events, most frequently by offering space for private event booking or hosting annual ticketed events.
In terms of event production, we are open to just about everything! Your annual conference or gala, your parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, the grand-opening bash for your new store — we’re ready for anything!
What does Venue development entail?
We will meet with you to see the space, discuss your needs and current practices related to events. Once we have a clear sense of the scope of your space and your goals, we’ll conduct market research (including rates, capacity, location, and amenities) and provide you with a report outlining our findings and offering suggestions on building out your space, establishing operating procedures, as well as next steps. If you’d like to keep us on to manage and sell the space moving forward we can do that too!
Do you only work in Portland?
No way! Let’s get the heck out of here! We will gladly travel to help you achieve your goals! Depending on how far we’re going there may be an additional travel fee.
What does a Month-of Coordinator do?
In certain terms, we are the closer. You put together your plans, hired your vendors, booked your supplies, arranged your guest list. When you walk into this event you spent so much time working on, don’t you want to be able to enjoy it? That’s where we come in. We will meet with you prior to your event to consult on any last details and then take on those plans to get you through the finish!
We will be on-site early to set up the venue to your specs, greet and manage vendors, coordinate and manage staff, move the run-of-show along, put out any figurative fires that arise, and tidy up when it’s all over. You’ll be free to sit back, relax, and enjoy the event!
Can You plan the whole thing for me?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of service options, from as-needed consultation to month-of coordination to planning partnership.
While we do have the expertise to take you from start to finish on our own, many clients want us to provide professional event experience to their in-house team or find it more financially approachable to bring us in to bat clean-up, and we like it that way! It gives you the most control over your planning process and also lets you kick back and relax the day-of.
Are there any events or businesses you won’t work with?
Like we said, we’re open to just about anything but we definitely reserve the right to decide we may not be a good fit for your needs.
