Hi, I’m Meg!
I moved to Maine in 2010 and was immediately taken with the passion and support for local businesses and food production that is evident across the state. After many years in the food and hospitality scene in both Cambridge and Portland, and organizing community and non-profit outreach events, I decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Sustainable Food Systems.
Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of tying that academic experience together with the knowledge and passion cultivated in my professional life. The result is a love for bringing people together to celebrate and support each other and their communities over food and drink; be it a neighborhood block party, private dinner, a fundraiser, a birthday celebration with family and friends, or even a wedding! For over a decade I’ve had the honor of working with state-wide non-profits, luxury boutique resort companies, and local food & beverage businesses to support their missions and achieve their revenue goals through events.
I’m a nerd for efficient systems, organization, history, and food traditions. I recharge with nature, traveling, cooking, and music. I’m in love with my family, my dog, my friends, and our vibrant community. I find joy in hospitality, making folks feel at home and at ease, and have a great appreciation for and dedication to authenticity.
My team of long-time hospitality professionals and I have a deep understanding of how much goes into bringing an event together, and how hard it is as the planner or venue to truly relax and enjoy your efforts.
